• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Went to start bike turn key on wait for screen to booth up hit mode and won't do anything screen doesn't change checked battery voltage 12.9 volts put foot on brake still nothing checked all fuses and relays and grounds still nothing .????

Would the kill switch stop power completely? Try working on and off several times.
I am not that experienced with spyders so...….

Yes I tried the kill switch, still nothing tried the spare key nothing. So went back later and it started up but the screen doesn't act right doesn't go to the mode screen it goes straight to the radio screen and you can't change modes to auxiliary or stations. I had my Chester replaced once before at 4293 miles it would go blank and reboot over and over . May have to bring it in for a check up. But thanks for all the suggestions ..

Spyders have a high initial power drain when starting …. if your Batt. is weak - it won't start …… have it load tested …… good luck ….. Mike :ohyea:

There have been a few folks that have had the mode button go bad. Sounds to me that is your problem. Dealer can plug in their laptop and check the mode button function. The left handlebar controls may need to be replaced.

Good luck

I also had a kill switch go bad, dealer replaced complete right handgrip cluster to fix. They were able to troubleshoot, determine the issue, and repeat the problem showing me how the tech could lean his body weight into turning the kill switch into the run position and get the bike to start. New switch, no problems since...
