• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Biggest Complaint

HEAT!!

The heat coming off the bike can be a killer. Even after most of the mods it can be very noticable. Any day over 90 and in stop and go traffic your going to feel it good. The good point is that in the winter months you maybe able to ride more days. People complain about hot feet, but I feel it on the back of my calves. SnowtoStreet where are you looking to buy?

Gas fumes when I turn it off. I let it cool down on the d/way before putting it in the garage. But I love my Spyder!

I had that the first time I filled it. I had overfilled, and apparently some gas go to the canister... Was really worried about it, and was going to tell the service dept about it on my 600 mile service, but it was long gone by then. Now I never fill it up at the end of the ride, unless I'm out, and know I won't make it to a gas station. I'll fill it up at the beginning, or half way. I try to never park it with a full tank.
I haven't smelled gas since I started doing that.

Can't get it quite right. Love the Spyder. Love it more with every mod I put on. But then there always another I have to have.......

Still need to work, so not enough time to enjoy... :)

Seriously though, I haven't found anything to complain about. There have been some "quirks", but I think most of that was my fault, trying to over control.

The main thing is to make sure the dealer you go to has an experienced Spyder tech, and ensure they perform the pre delivery inspection / setup good...

Totally agree! Good setup is like good air. Need more certified Can Am Spyder techs, and less dealers who are all about the sell and not the followup service.

The 2 things that I have noticed in the 5 days of owning a Spyder

My main complaint is the cheap BMX hand grips on the RS S. I know this is a quick and easy fix, but not something you should have to upgrade on an $18,000 vehicle

But the most annoying thing is all the Spyder owners complaining about their MPG!!!
