• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Big Problems

Ride Forrest Ride!
Well,,,, Not really.
When I left Maggie Valley I had a air bag that was not working. Also my emergency Kill switch had the intermittent failure, spotty function.

Needless to say I arrived without incident, as the Iron Horse did its job. Got me home.

Took the Iron Horse to my local Dealer, ( Central Power Sports, of Kissimmee, fl ) and bingo fixed my bag, and Switch. Although they had to order the switch, That malfunction did not hamper me to ride.. But the Air bag was something else.. They had the necessary parts on hand and shortly out the door I went.. Big Kudoo's to CPS.

I now have over 22,000 miles on the 2012 RT and it has been smooth riding, except for rough air bag ride, for the 12 months of riding.

The only other issues, have always been resolved when I got the Horse serviced, oil, rear tire's ( 2). however, the last tire was a Auto Tire and have 15,000 with very little wear, as opposed to the 7,000 miles on the OEM.

So service it frequently, check it out before each ride, tires oil etc. Then enjoy the miles.

Life is good..!!

glad things are working for you and your dealer took care of you as they should. I will put them on the plus side..ah the tire mileage dilema...your on your own on that one....

Can you elaborate a bit on the air bag repair. I assume you are talking about the rear suspension. Mine leaks the air charge down to zero overnight. Thanks

Check the valve core in your Schrader valve under the seat before you do anything else. That is a source of a lot of leaks.

What Rear?

I got 12,000 out of my rear Kenda, I am already running car tire #2 on the rear but only get about 17000 out of mine for a total of ~29,000.

Just curious what are you running on the rear that you are seeing little wear at 15,000?

trailer light is not BRP or Dealer problem... It is mine.

I have, as of this day, received replacement lights for the trailer as the one bad was in fact bad and not wiring etc.

So, later today or the first of the week, time permitting, I will replace the light.

Thanks for asking...

Used a valve core tool and managed to get about 1/16 of a turn tighter on the valve core. Spit test before and after shows no bubbles. Dealer wants the spyder for an undetermined amount of time to investigate. Weather too good to give up the Spyder right now. I just air it up every time I ride. Still irritating for the money I spent for the Spyder.
