• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

BEST Warranty Documentation - what do I get?

Hi all,

After my wife's Spyder showed a DPS Fault/Limp error with just 22 miles on the odometer back on 10/11, we decided to buy the BEST warranty. I called my dealer and bought the 3yr plan for each bike. I sent a check along with the driver who picked up my wife's bike to bring it back to the dealer for repairs. I was told the paperwork would be mailed to me.

That was three weeks ago, and I haven't received anything. So, I called my dealer to ask about documentation; I'll be taking the bikes to FL this winter, and I want to make sure I have all warranty info handy. He said that BEST is tied to VIN number, and that a dealer would look it up, that there was no documentation. However, I'm not so sure...reading this forum, I've found that lots of dealers have conflicting information about lots of things related to the Spyder.

So, my question is, what did all of you get when you purchased the BEST warranty?

All I got with mine was a letter from BRP (weeks later) that included a card to keep with the Spyder (containing phone number and warranty ID).

Same here except our card came months later. No other specific documentation or paperwork.

Same here. If your concern is whether or not someone actually submitted the paperwork for your BEST warranty, try 1-888-864-2002.
 
consensus rules...wait two months to get your paperwork...this is the same across the board...

I carry the card in my wallet...should probably put the numbers and info. in my iphone...
 
You do have to sign some paperwork to at least I did and you get a copy
but still waiting for card but it's only been a month or so :ani29:
 
It's been a little over 5 months for me and I've still not received anything. I guess I'll give BRP a call tomorrow to see if they will send some information out.
