• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Best trouble free year for the ST model

Just curious, I know the 13's had the heat issue, but was there issues with 2012? or 2014? I love the F3, but I really like the ST's as well, and would not mind owning one if I could find one that hasn't been plauged with problems...

Your thoughts?
Thanks,
Rich

Not sure, but I don't think there was a 2012 st. 2013 was the first year for the st. I would love to have a st with a 1700 vmax drive train transplant. That would be my ultimate vehicle.

The 2014 STs have been showing a lot less problems... It appears that the bodywork and computer programming changes, have made a worthwhile difference.
The 2012s reported none; because they didn't exist that year... :D

The F3 is much more stable and will run circles around the ST although I admit I still like the streamlined look of the ST better. Doing the Cat Delete and removing that blast furnace from beneath the gas tank will go a long way to removing any heat problems that a bike has experienced

Honestly.....

none of them have been plagued with problems. The ST was introduced in 2013 and had some heat issues. The F3 is new for 2015 so no information on it but having the 1330ACE engine and an open frame should be problem free in that respect. The 2014 RT has had nothing major go wrong with it mechanically. Some tire issues mostly. The RS/RSS have remained the same with little to no problems. Not any different as with all other vehicle manufacturers...test the F3 that may be the one...
