• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

BEST PRANKS

I will have to sit back and watch this one. I never did anything like that because I know that sometimes "what goes around, comes around.":bowdown::bowdown:

:agree: read my prior post (#20), and the "what goes around, comes around" is now my Mother-in-Law lives with me and my wife nojoke

about 20 years ago on Holloween I had a 5 foot rattle snake come wondering into my yard. Being afraid of the little kids starting to be out and about I decided to take care of Mr. Rattlesnake. Here is where the fun comes in. My next door neighbor always was playing jokes on me so... They were out for the evening and I tied the rattlesnake to the inside of the garage door opener. When they came home and hit the door opener, the rattlesnake was swinging from the opener rail. Needless to say as we were watching this from across the street we were rolling on the floor with 4 other neighbors. The look on there face was priceless. I woke up to a TP'd house and orange grass LOL....

Here's an oldie but a goodie...

Telling a newbie to get the skyhook.

*****

In the '60s-70s I lived in a small farming community. Every year on the day after Halloween, the principal's car was found on the top of the flat-roofed schoolhouse.

Nobody is saying who, or how they did it and it's been going on for generations.

That's a cool tradition!

Boy Scouts

When I was in Boy Scouts when we had the Jamboree camping trip it was tradition for a troop to send out a group of new kids to find a "left handed bacon stretcher". One year one of the fathers in our troop made one, but said it was a right handed bacon stretcher. Gave it to the group of kids to borrow, and had a big laugh over it.

Was even more funny when they came back to return it, thanked us saying that their father was left handed, and could not use it.

Back in my high school days, a group of us got together to go ice skating, the class bully showed up and started his usual schtick. When we went to a friends house for hot chocolate, the kid pushed his way to the front of the line, and grabbed the first mug. About an hour after that, with a surprised look on his face, he left, moving faster than usual. The girl who was the host had filled the first mug with exlax!
