• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What is the best master cylinder to us for a front brake set up with a slave cylinder? I know the one from a Yamaha xs 650 is supposed to work, but it looks out of place. Any body know of any other 22mm bore cylinders?

The Spyder's brake system is made by Hayes Brakes. You might want to contact them for sources on a matching front brake handlebar assembly.

Let us know what you find out. I've been meaning to call them but....

I am using a harley master cylinder . Its for dual front setup. Got it off of ebay for $25. I also used a slave cylinder from a 90or 91 toyota T100 pickup. $12.95 from advance auto parts. It all looks good and works great.:2thumbs:

What did you do about the 1" bar size? Did you shim it?

It fit just fine. Didn't have to shim anything with mine. But shimming it would be pretty easy to do if you had to, or file down the halfs alittle would work to, wouldn't it? :dontknow:
