• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Now here is a subject that I have never seen on Spyderlovers. The question is where to go for Ice Cream in the different locations we go to. Where in Cuba is the best place? This is almost as important as Where is the Nearest Spyder Dealer? We have a duty to satisfy our younger side. In Nova Scotia there have an ice cream run every night at the Bluenose Rally. OK Mogang what is the place to put on my list for Spyderfest?:)
 
I SCREAM FOR ICECREAM

Have an old fashioned Drug Store counter floors and ambieance in Steelville. A REALLY great one with over 50 different kinds of Ice cream in Jefferson City. I will have to defer to any Mo Gang member who can come up with more places. Hey BUMMBLE BEE!!!! Help out here!!!! Lookin at Waynesville Area I don't remember anyplace. Been to many years since I was there. Well there's gotta be more. Oh yes & up in Herman(?) there' a really nice little place. Those are the only places I've been to and know they have REALLY good icecream. The drive to a couple of them is fairly far BUT a fun run. Maybe we can have a ryde specifically for ICECREAM!!!! MAN I THINK I JUST STARTED SOMETHING HERE THAT'S NOT IN THE BOOKS:opps:. ORR you all can go on yer own.:2thumbs:

They've got a small stand there that serves a coffee/peanut butter shake that is magnificent!! :yes::yes::ohyea::ohyea::ohyea::firstplace:

Then there is that place in St James where SpyderPops cleaned out LaMonts wallet.:roflblack: Don't remember the name of it, and come to think of it may have been yogurt.
 
Already mentioned by SteveMac is Ted Drewes Frozen Custard in St. Louis but unfortunately it is about 85 miles from Cuba. In St. James their is Ruby's Ice Cream which is pretty good and only about 10 miles from Cuba and then their is Central Dairy in Jefferson City but not sure of the miles.
 
For me, the best ice cream is at the place I'm just pulling into....I love the stuff, can't remember ever having bad ice cream! :2thumbs:

There is a local chain around the Capital Region in NY called Stewarts Ice Cream Shops....they've kind of expanded into a full blown quick stop operation but their roots are milk & ice cream and they still put out a tasty cone....good selection too.

Peanut Butter Pandamonium....to die for!! :thumbup: :ohyea: :thumbup:
 
I've got to agree with you Danny:
Ice cream is a lot like pizza in that it's all pretty good; but some might be a bit better than others... :thumbup:
 
There's an ice cream shop in Corydon (IN) that is in the top ten I've been able to find, can't tell you the name of the place, but my Spyder knows the way.
Now pizza, and I don't know if this place is there anymore, on Milwaukee Ave, I think around Prospect Heights, in a strip mall, Pete's Pizza Pub had absolutely the best I've ever had.

Yup, definitely would like to do that this summer....let's be reasonable tho....coffee (of course) then a pizza....then some ice cream....then a little Spyder ryde....to the next pizza place! That's more reasonable....right? :ohyea:
