• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I've got the Hero 4 and I mount it on either the Lt or Rt above the headlights using the suction cup mount and use the Bluetooth to my IPhone to control the camera, I use the Ram mount from Lamonster for my IPhone. It's a good setup. The Hero 4 and 5 are almost the same just the 5 has a few more features over the 4.
I also have the stick on mounts in various positions on the bike, I also use my GoPro 2 facing rearward so I can reach it to turn it on and off. The GoPro is one awesome camera. Good Luck:doorag::yes:

Little checking..

Ram has a wide assortment of mounts that will work on your spyder...I have an RS and finally ended up with a mirror mount. Works for the gopro or gps as well.

GOPro

I use the mount from JT's Machine Shop and Spyder Accessories, one of the site sponsors. It's easy to install, on the dash behind the windscreen, and it provides 5 different angles for your device, and/or you can install additional devices. The website is: http://www.spyderstore.com/

Although I agree JT's mounting bracket is awesome, and I use the hell out of it, it doesn't answer his question. I highly recommend JT's bracket as well, but you'll need to invest some additional monies with adapters and such to securely attach the go pro. Plus, you always can connect other useful gadgets, tools, etc along with the go pro.

Ram mount installed

This is the mount I decided to use. Ram U bolt with 2 ball/socket adjustments. Rock solid and allows virtually any position you want. I will test ride tomorrow but I'm sure this will be fine.
Would someone please tell me how to flip the picture vertical?

With mounting to the bike do you get vibration in the image? Do you tether it in case of suction cup failure?
