• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

My wife has a 2011 R/T Lim we bought used very low miles, it is getting ready for the 4,600 mi service and I hope someone in North Ms or Memphis can give me some input on which dealer would be the best for service. There are only 2 in the general area and both of these are 70+ miles for me one way. I have one dealer in Olive Branch Ms, and one in Memphis, any thoughts would be appreciated.

:welcome: I'm sure someone from your area will chime in with a recommendation for you. Have you visited either of the dealers yet? If not maybe you should take a ride and introduce yourself to the Service Dept. at both and see how they treat you.

I rode through your area in June and it was beautiful and we even ate lunch just across the street from the Memphis Can Am dealer.

My dealer is 110 miles away but well worth the trip. Can't recommend one in your area but if you do find a good 'un,stick with them as there is nothing like a great dealer relationship. But then you knew that...

Go wherever it takes to get the best service! nojoke
(Think of it as a chance to check out how the bike was running; both before and after!)

I bought my RTS from the dealership on Goodman Road in Olive Branch. So far they have been good to me as I have had the 600 mile service preformed there, had warranity work done on the bouncing gas gauge replacement and I also had new chrome rims installed and balanced on the two front tires. I removed the tires myself from the Spyder to safe a few bucks. But I have used the dealership in Memphis also on a previous Triumph bike and they also preformed well in servicing my bike. There is also a third option of another dealership up at Millington Tn. but I don't know anything about them, other than they were a bit high in price when I was looking to buy a Spyder. I think it would be wise to visit each dealership and see how they react to your questions as far as servicing your Spyder. Just my 2 cents worth.

Check with Bullant12 on here ... your closer to their area and they probably been to those two dealers.

1) Olive Branch: Only been there a few times and this was before it was a Spyder dealer... there is a story that when they started they told customers that the RT had factory heated seats and BRP had to read them the brochure again :roflblack:

2) FRS Powersports (Triumph): My actual dealer. REALLY haggle with them on buying new units, but their service is good.

3)Yamaha of Millington: Bought my 1st and wife's Spyder there. If you say the price is high, David will negociate really well, he promises no upfront fees. But this is a Mom and Pop dealer, so as far as service goes, it's a hit and miss.

I also recommed Carlock Powersports in Jackson, TN near Pringles park if you want to go that far. Eric Pettay is moving 2012 and 13's and so far their service department has been really good.

Good luck and don't hesitate to ask me any other questions.
