• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What is the best security alarm
What's the best tracking device for motorcycles( Spyder) Lo-jack for Bikes?

The RivaMotorsports down in Key Largo, Florida offers a satellite tracking system that sounds interesting to me. I forget the name of the service. I will do a little research about it and get back to you. I do remember the salesperson saying that the difference between this and Lojack was that this will inform you when the bike is moved without the key in the ignition, rather than waiting for you to notify someone.

The only problem with lojack is that it works in conjunction with equipment supplied to your local law enforcement agency. Not all agencies have it and and it's a must. I would not buy lojack unless you live in a large metropolitan area and don't plan on leaving it too often.

Thanks for the info, what's the best alarm and lock system when parked in the city.

The lojack system would be a great one, but again, only if your local law enforcement has enough units equipped with the recovery system. Check with your local LE agencies and see if they have the systems. In the Denver metro area, not enough agencies have them so I would not waste my money buying the system. The other thing to consider is how proactive the department is. If they are busy running call to call, the might ignore the signal that the recovery system gives out. You can turn the tones down and ignore it if you are having a busy night.

I personally use a Talon alarm system. If someone still manages to nab it- here I come SE5.
