• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Belt Guard

Well...rode my Spyder to church on Sunday...like a good little boy. Started to pull out of my parking space to leave...heard a nice little crunching sound. Me and a few gatherers who heard the same sound....spent a few minutes trying to figure out where it was coming from. Looked everywhere and finally discovered the belt guard had been sucked up towards the front part of the front belt sprocket. I guess it had come off when I was backing up in the parking space. Lucky for me it wasn't while I was going 70 down the interstate. A small piece was broken off of the tip, other than that, it is fine. So the question is, what size bolts and nuts hold that thing on. I don't have a service manual, so I thought someone would could look that up for me. And yes, i will put lots of lock-tight on those suckers!

Thanks again...love this site!

You can look here

Procaliber.com...............has Parts on a Fiche' that you look at on-line .....it will also tell what every size (and location) of all the nuts and bolts are ....plus if you register ( it's free) the parts are discounted................good luck...........Mike

Belt Guard for the ST

I have a 2013 ST and there was a service bulletin about the bolts coming loose from the belt guard. I not sure the exact date, however I think it was in Jan of 2014 and was done at my first 600 mile service. My dealer fixed it for me under warranty. Good Idea to check it every now and then especially easy to do. :f_spider:
