There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Belt guard & control

We just got a new 2014 RTS SE6 and I think the first things to install would be the Belt guard (spyderpops) and a Belt Control tensioner (smoothspyder). I need to know where I can get both to fit the new 2014 bike, and it looks like they go in the same place on the arm. Any help on these two parts and if they will fit???

The frame on the 2013 RT and ST are the same for 2014. So if you purchase for 2013 it should fit, but check with the manufacture to be sure.

If you purchase the new design smooth spyder tensioner, the belt guard is integrated so you will not need both. You can get it from SmoothSpyder or Spyderpops. Both great vendors to deal with. And yes, the 13 and 14 are the same at the frame and shock mount area.

Does Spyderpops have the tensioner also as I can't find on there web site.

I may have been mistaken. I thought SpyderPops sold them also. SmoothSpyder is a great vendor to deal with too. Top notch product and Customer Service.

+1 on the Smoothspyder Jim is great to deal with. I put one on my 2013 RT and it's great it really does it's job

For the first time I had the bike up to 70+ mph and I think there was vibration, just a little when I went from on to off the gas. This must be the belt I think? I hope:yikes:

Good info, I hadn't heard that before. Wonder if also integrated for the ST as well?

I don't see a guard in the pictures, what am I missing or ???

Guard

I just installed both on my 2013 RT Limited with no problem....Tensioner was from Butler....
Can't really tell any diff with the tensioner on but have not had it on the freeway yet.

So butler has them also, and who is "Butler"???

Vibration on the 14's is known. It happens between 70 and 80 for most and it seems to be worse under load (going uphill). It has been said that its the same as previous years, but it feels different to me. Most think its the belt as the previous years. I am not sure if anyone has put a tensioner on a 14 RT. I would be interested if it fixes the vibs.

Edit: I just read the thread linked above and it seems someone has installed it.
