• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Bell Mag 9 Helmet

Was at dealership today looking for a new helmet for a Christmas present for myself. I kinda like the Bell Mag 9 because of the feature that allows the communicator to be integrated into the helmet. I was wondering if any of you wear one and how do you like it? Also, I didn't want hijack another thread but what is the real difference between the Sena 10 and the Sena 20. I have Sena 10 now and am wondering if it is worth updating if I got the Mag 9. Thx for your input.

I have the Mag 9 and like it a lot. You will have to purchase a new clamp kit for that helmet. And as with most helmets, speaker position at the ear is critical.

Absolutely spot on! Before installing the speakers, hook them up to a sound source and hold them to your ears. Find that "sweet spot" where they sound the best. Now you know what to listen for after you install them and are adjusting their position in the helmet to give you the best sound.

You won't regret it

I have a set of the Bell Mag 9's. I also bought the SENA smh10 integrated units that the helmets were designed for. I would suggest checking Revzilla out. Great pricing for both the helmets and the SENA units:

I bought an open box of the SENA units for significantly less than the listed price. I have the pearl white Spyder LTD and the helmets match perfectly.

Make sure you try it on before you purchase as that is what we did and it did not fit correctly for both my wife and I. I like the look and the integration of the Sena 10 is a real plus, but I learned long ago that if the helmet is not comfortable you are going to be very unhappy riding with it.

BTW the 20s will not fit in the cutout on the Bell helmet.

We do not own the Mag 9 yet. Been trying to find a dealer with some to try on.

A friend does have a Mag 9, and he informed me that Bell offers different sizes of cheek pads to obtain a better fit for each person.

Appreciate the info that a 20 series intercom does not fit.

Purchased two last year. We both liked the helmet alot and how the Sena was integrated with the helmet but there was always alot of wind noice. We were both behind windshields. Ended up buying a Neotec for myself. She bought a Vega. Haven't tried the Bells since the latest Sena updates though. Read the revues at Revzella also.

I purchased a lot of helmets before finally finding the bell mag 9:actually a friend recommended it to me. Wife and I love them. Best helmets we ever owned!

Please price them then after the shock call me for the Spyder Price

The Bell Mag 9 is a super helmet... however it is made to use ONLY the SENA SMH10 the SENA 20S will not fit
on or into that helmet.

Lots of reviews complain of noise. I like the helmet and the Sena is on sale for a 2 pack...$170 off. What have our SPYDER Ryder's have to say?

I think those who complain of excessive noise, ride sport bikes or bikes without windshields. They do have a little more wind noise than a full face helmet, but behind the shield on my RT, I think they are great.
