There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Hello Spyderlover friends....

Just a note of caution -- we had our first motorcycle fatality in the Twin Cities late yesterday due to a POTHOLE on an INTERSTATE -- wow. Totally preventable.....just a shame...

Glad I have 3 wheels under us when we ride........won't be riding until roads get better -- "zero" miles on my 2014 sitting in the garage....ugh.

Prayers go out to him and his family....

Wow that brings back memories... I was on my Wing and changing lanes on 75 southbound in Cincinnati and crossed over a section of missing pavement between the lanes and it swallowed up the front wheel and almost flipped me off. Another reason I'm glad I'm now on a more stable bike!

Wait a minute...he was running 100 to 120 mph on an interstate w no helmet?

Why are we worried about a pothole?:hun:

The unfortunate driver paid for his mistakes big time. For me, it does not change the fact that we think about family at a time like this.

I think it states he was wearing a helmet and it was later discovered by the police when investigating the scene...he or some help probably pulled it off....

JL,

Did you get a ride in Monday?

No, but thanks for asking.....I am going to wait (if this was my first Spyder, I might have rode it already - lol). I decided it's not worth it with all the grit and potholes around. I wlll ryde when the streets look better and maybe a rain or two washes things down. Anxious to ryde, but now willing to risk me or the bike at this time.....

Still doing some farkles....i.e. installing Ron's sway bar and the bumpskid -- will be completed by next week due to other things going on right now....maybe get started this week!

How about you???

If you see the roads around here, you would be plenty worried about potholes....at any speed. I personally am waiting for the potholes to get better addressed, the sand (gravel and grit) to get off the streets, and maybe a rain or two to wash it all away before I risk myself or my bike here in the lovely state of MN.

Just today I received a call from my dealer (Ollie's in Alexandria) that my 2014 RT-L in pearl white arrived. Will be driving up there on Monday to finish paying for it, but do not plan on picking it up until weather and road conditions improve. I may have done it if I had my hook up for my heated jacket liner installed.

That's great news! :congrats: We'll need to get together later in the year when we start seeing "green" around here. Best wishes for a successful delivery of your Spyder!

Even here in Virginia they are bad.

We have a number we can call and "supposedly" they will be fixed within 48 hours.

It seems like they are on top of it "reasonably" good....sometimes those potholes turn into mounds though....which aren't much better on a motorbike. :banghead:
