I just don't think they were going to put the Spyder in some kind of bike show. I think they were more looking for functionality than looks.

:agree: & all the extra rules of protecting public equipment, supplies, papers, ....ect, ect. The BMW box must have passed a regulation test at some point. It is TX, they can redneck it:roflblack: LA needed the pretty RT's for parades & such. But the F3's police ed with the jump & go function is big plus:b2b::2thumbs:

It's got to be a crime to take an F3 and put on the ultra ugly BMW bags. For a Police department to pick up on what a safe platform theF3 is speaks volumes.

Must be something popular, to hold police equipment. Same ones on the Benbrook, Texas Police dept. Spyders. Buddy of mine sees them around town quite frequently. Quite cool has a few extra bells and whistles along with Instant start.

The "Instant Start" is on ALL F3s . The software boots very quickly. Turn the key, hold Mode and hit the starter and off you go!

The 2016 F3 does not have the 'quick start' since it has the updated computer program.
