Battery tender to 12v socket

I saw several threads on here indicating you can connect a battery tender to the 12 v socket adapter to charge you battery. Will this work for the 12 v socket under the passenger seat on the F3s?

No - it is switched 12V - only on when bike is turned on.

You might consider hooking it up directly to battery - battery is behind frunk - frunk is easy to take out - back of my frunk has hole drilled for routing of interconnect cable and is connected directly to battery. Pop frunk lid plug-into your battery charger.
