• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Getting Ready for Winter:gaah: read here on the forum that battery tender plus is a good unit to buy so i did , also the person said they used a 12volt adaptor to plug into the cigi lighter in the trunk, so i hardwired a plug onto the battery tender lead and guess what it wont work unless the ignition is on :cus: what am i doing wrong thanks. Yes the leads are wired correctly.

It has something to do with a 6 or 7 fuse. One is on all the time and the other is only when ignition is on, but I forget which one it is off hand. I read it in the owners manual:doorag:.

No need there are clear instructions on page 60 of the 2013 RT owner's manual.

Its really not that difficult...

Wire the tender to the battery with the included terminal wires, plug in tender walk away. But be sure to buy a "Battery Tender" brand tender.

I prefer using the power outlet in the trunk for my battery tender. It is very easy to access. No wiring involved. Just switch the fuse 6 to the 7 slot(?), check the manual for the correct fuse to make the outlet hot all the time.

Excuse my ignorance but what is the "welcome package" .?

Battery Tender

I was of the understanding there were wires in the frunk to which you connect the tender. Am I correct or not? I haven't taken the frunk apart yet so I may be wrong. Besides, how do you take the top panel off as it has a clip of some sort of clip on it.

Pull up on the center of clip , use a small screw driver . Once center is released, pull the whole clip out. Under that piece is a red and black terminal.
