• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Battery tender help

Plug the tender into the battery directly...not through a 12 volt anything...use the connections and leave them attached to the bike...I do it this way and lock in the tender whenever the bike is in the garage...detach it when I ride...

The battery tender plugs into a 110 wall outlet and connects to the spyder battery and provides a trickle charge. At least it is supposed to work that way!!
When I had my seadoos I hooked my battery tender up 2 different times and had the red lite come on, I found our out the battery was so far didscharged it was showing reverse polarity. I used a heavier duty charger for about an hour and then hooked up the trickle charger and it worked fine.

The easiest way to test the charger itself is to hook it to the jumper terminals under the seat, using the alligator clips provided. If that works, test the adapter for polarity with a multimeter.
