• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Battery replacement

BATTERY

IMHO - the Yuasa it came with is probably your best bet......they are one of the leading suppliers of high quality batteries. That being said .....I have been looking at a DELTRAN Lithium-ion # BTL 24A360c wt.2.6 lb... battery that Walmart often has on sale for about 40% off MSRP that looks very attractive........smaller and very light weight..........................Mike

Agree...

:agree: stick with the original. Check with ebay, cheapcycleparts.com, I believe Mike uses PROCALIBER.COM for better prices. Don't know about those light weight lithium types...:dontknow:

Lot of people like the Lithium-ion batteries and some of the newer sport bikes even come with them.

However, they require a special charger and don't like extreme low temps.
They are definitely lighter and I am sure you can find one that fits.

I almost bought one for my motorcycle but I don't ride it often and it sits on a tender so would have had to replace that also.
I bought my last 2 motorcycle batteries at AutoZone.
Most atv/motorcycle batteries only have a 3 or 6 month warranty.

For conventional batteries, you do want a AGM, which stands for Absorbed Glass Mat.
