Did your bike act like it was trying to start but didn't???
I have mine in the shop. I haven't ridden in weeks but I would go to the garage and start it every week. Last week it wouldn't turn over. Lights worked, it sounded like it was trying to catch but didn't. I tried to jump it with my car (car not turned on of course) and that didn't work.
My dealership (which sucks) said it started for them after tightening something.....I just don't trust my dealership.
Is it the cables on the posts that get loose? Could this happen on a bike that has been parked for a few weeks. Seems odd to me.
Lamont has a video out there about access...sadly I'm on a mobile site and can't link right now. You don't have to remove tupperware, just 2 screws under the seat by the battery cut out. Unplug the passenger heat controls and that cut out panel lifts off.napper39 is correct. I have BR1 plugged in 24/7. My question is...is there a "easy or quick" way to get to the battery terminals to tighten them without removing plastic? I have looked but not touched....I do have my dealer tighten them by don't go in that often. Just wondering. Thanks.

Thanks, friends. I am going to try to check my terminals. I know my Wing terminals work loose every six months. They are easy to get to so I check them every two or three months. I will attempt it on BR1.
I am very bright and smart. I know that you use a cresent wrench to beat on a flat head V8 Ford gererator to get it to work. That is the end of my mechanical knowledge.
Thanks again. :spyder2:

Updated...moved over to my computer...here's the link
I admit it, I'm not very smart. I see those screws, but how the heck do I get at the one toward the back? With the seat right there a screwdriver doesn't fit. I thought I read somewhere about taking the seat off, but how do I do that? I just wanna ride my bike! :banghead::gaah:
