• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Battery charge

Most of us put it on a battery maintainer when not riding it. The 2014 and up triple has an alternator but the 998 engine has an older stator system which needs higher rpm to charge the battery. The sweet spot is around 5,000 RPM. You could check the connections to make sure they are clean and tight. A battery maintainer like the Deltron Battery Tender Junior works well and keeps the battery up to full charge. How far do you commute?

I agree. If I am not riding.....it is on my Tender. Always ready to go !

Not a bad idea to put on tender

I'm different odd man out :yikes:

Have a 13 bought new original battery and the only time i use A tender is off season :dontknow:
