• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Bar End options

My wife hates the stock mirrors, so we bought a set of after markets that she really likes. The issue is when ya take the stock ones off, it leaves an ugly unfinished end on the bars, and it leaves it useless to try to mount Lidlox because of the mirror mount setup. Does anyone have any other options for bar end caps yet? She does want a set of Lidlox as well, so I'm kind of at a loss for mounting them if I totally remove the stock mirrors.:banghead:

After scouting on Lamonster's site, I see his Ryker has Lidlox and the aftermarket mirrors.....Lamont, how did you mount the Lidlox? That little wedge nut deep in the bar held the mirrors on, right?

My GFs 900 was vibrating badly, she had trouble seeing in the mirrors and her hands going numb.
I ordered a 12" X 13/16" piece of brass from McMaster Carr, cut it in half, drilled and tapped a threaded 1/4 - 20 hole in one end (to aid in placement and removal) milled a 1/4 inch groove halfway down the side to clear the pins for the grips and inserted it with some silicone adhesive to hold it in place.
Each side has 6" of brass inside.
It fixed the vibration problems and she can see clearly out of the mirrors.
