• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Baker Built Air Wings (review)

Air Wings

While at the Fontana Rally I stopped by Baker products to look at the different colored air wing
to see which one would look best on my 2013 pearl white RTL. I picked the new gen. light smoke
with chrome hardware and gold filled happy spyder "top and webb on bottom.
Mike & Mike jumped right on the job And a few minutes later we left for Pigeon Forge via way of Cherokee. When we left it was in the 70ts so i set the wings for cooling by the time we reached
the higher elevations the temperature had dropped about 20 degrees , My wife said she needed to
stop and put her coat on as she was getting cold, I reached down and reversed the wings almost
immediately she asked what did i do to make it so much warmer. " She never did put her coat on"

We would like to thank Pam and all the rest who has responded to her post. Your words about our air wings was great to hear first thing this morning. I would like to note that the wings work great in the summer as well as the winter, they bring air in on you and/or keep the rain and engine heat off.
Pam, Thanks again,
Mike
What, if anything, are you guys doing to accommodate the heat recall air scoops? I sent an email a couple of months ago showing what I did with mine but never got a response.

Thanks Pam we appreciate your comments on the F4 Customs windshield and vent. Hope to see you at the next rally.
Don
Brent, I love my tall and wide vented windshield, and so does my co-pilot. Not only does it keep the wind and rain out of MY face, it also makes her more comfortable. And the Goldwing style vent is a huge plus. I definately recommend it.

We have came up with a new Inner panel. We are working it into production now. They will be available soon for purchase. We have included some literature on it in-case anyone wants to modify their existing panels to fit the air scoops.http://

Wing carry over

Traded the '12 RT for 15 RT and carried the Wings from one to the other. No issues. For anyone thinking they would remove the Wings in the Summer...Experience tells me...Don't!:lecturef_smilie: The fact that one can adjust the airflow 'in' is something to reckon with. As to the heat issue with the '12, the Wings help reduce that too...Just sayin!!

We'll see....

The wings are serving me well while riding on these cold November mornings when the air temperature is in the 40s. December through February pre-dawn temps can get into the 30s. As for summer, I will probably keep them on and see how they do. Somehow I can't visualize 110 degree air blowing on me as providing any comfort, but we shall see.:dontknow:

The upper and lower air wings were one of the first things I installed on my 2013 RT-S and then on my 2015-RT-S. They make a big difference with the wind both on cold and warm days. :dg2:

I love the Air-Wings!

I live in Ohio. In June, I traded a 2010 Goldwing in on a 2015 RT Limited.
I had Air-Wings on the GL1800, and rode regularly in the mid to upper 20's (5:30AM, 25 miles and 25 degrees gets you ready for work!). The wings did a great job!

One question I have, relates to fitment with highway pegs. I'm thinking of going with the full wing set, but I don't want to run into issues with highway pegs, should Santa deem me worthy!
Does anyone have any info on that?
