• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

my words in my very 1st post on this thread;

"Tech begins diagnosis of poor power steering function. I am not happy with how long it took to diagnos BUT this tech, along with all of us here, have to juggle multiple jobs. Trying to keep ALL our customers happy. Do I think he could have diagnosed this issue in one day with all the repairs/diagnoses he had on his plate at that time? NO! Nor could any tech. But I do think it could have been diagnosed within 3 days."

there were multiple issues that caused the time frame it took to complete his repairs and a large majority of them are spelled out in my 1st post.

i cannot believe you got me to post in here again but i cannot allow mis-information at my expense to continue. although it appears it will continue..........waiting for my "all right...good going".......:pray::dontknow:

and please go back and read my point about the unit not being purchased/serviced here. my statement was to prove that didnt matter to us. because here we have our own unit toor down to try and help.

Not sure how you operate but my dealer will tell me how backed up they are when i drop my spyder off and they also tell me when they will be able to get to it. IMO Once the dealer starts on mine they should continue till the diagnosis is made and parts are ordered. Being an ex mechanic myself I have never stopped mid diagnosis to work on something else that came in thats how you miss things. You think oh i checked this out earlier so let me check here when in reality you were gonna check that when you went to work on some other project that came in. But guess some people do things differently now since i've been out of Auto work for 10 years now.
 
Baja I'm glad you're getting your bike back. I hope all problems are solved and it's just good riding from here on.

Lamont, IMHO you should shut this thread down, let everyone take a deep breath and regroup. This is too good a blog for us to destroy it. I think each one of you are the best :firstplace: and I want to keep it that way.
