Sorry it's taken me so long to reply. I've been very busy! No excuse I suppose but that's the best I can do and I'm sticking to it!
Is the styrofoam broken or has the plastic tab just come unglued? Is the plastic tab undamaged?
Styrofoam is not damaged and plastic tab just came unglued with no damage.
There should be a black nylon cloth piece over the plastic. Is that still glued tightly?
The replacement cheek pads did not come with that nylon cloth like the stock cheek pad.
If you go to a hobby shop they will have glues (like super glue) that will work with the plastic and styrofoam. You might want to take the cheek pad in with you so they can check out the plastic.
I have used Loctite super glue gel. Oh, oh I looked at your next statement; it may be to late. Of course the glue has had a few days to set and it seems to be holding with no harm to the styrofoam; at least not yet.
If you use any other glue it will either be a total waste of time and do nothing or it will attack the styrofoam like a bad Sci-Fi movie! :yikes:
If it turns out you can't repair the cheek pad let me know. I can get you another one.
