• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

found out this is bad today, have to leave for the salt flats on thursday.

Len said he was goin to check and overnight me a front sprocket for my 09 rs.

Thanks to Firefly for the post about his being bad I will have to search for that to get all the tips on getting it out and putting a new one in.

there is always something, I also have a video of the "crack pipe exhaust" which is one of the loudest things I have ever been around.

Hope you can switch it out and get to the Salt Flats ! If you do get to the Salt Flats good luck with your runs ! Show the world what a Spyder can do.

Hope yours comes off easier than mine. Mine was lodged on pretty good due to spline wear. We used a puller on the sprocket flange area and as expected it broke the flange.

The broken flange area allowed one of the puller arms to get behind the sprocket -- then we used a torch to cut another 'slot' 180 degrees opposite for the other arm to get back onto the back of the sprocket--

One of us worked the puller while the other held a large clamp to hold the puller arms together.

Clean the splines really good and take pics... I would also use a new bolt if you have one-- and mark the parts (bolt, shaft, sprocket) when you put it all together with a marker of some sort so you can visually see if things move.....

Wish I could go with yah to the flats bro.....
