There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. BAckrest & Armrests???

Does anyone out there have the Utopia Drivers Backrest and some type of armrests for the passenger on the RT as well? If so what kind/brand of armrests and how does the combo work together?? i.e. how easy is it for passenger to get on and off etc??
thanks

Have both

The wife and I each have both the Utopia backrest and the Diamond R arm rests on our RTs and absolutely love them. The backrest will fold forward and the armrests swing to the sides making it very easy to get on and off of the spyder.

Doc, We also have the same setup. They work very well together. See you in MV.

I have for sale a set of Corbin Arm rests for the RT. Color is the brown/tan that Corbin sells. I would sell them for
175.00 They were on the Spyder for about 300 miles. The wife didn't like arm rests.

We have the Utopia back rest and Corbin passenger arm rests and love both of them. Both well-built products and make the rides much more comfortable.

Utopia Backrest and Corbin Armrests. Easy on and off, the driver seat back folds down. Wife feels very secure in the armrests.

Many like the Diamond R armrests. So easy a dummy could install them. They fold in and they give some passengers that secure feeling of being snuggled in their seat.:D

Thanks everyone for the input. Looks like I may try to pick up the Diamond R armrests at Spyderfest if not before.

I've got the Diamond R armrests also.
Easy install and my wife loves them.
Also, if I have a box,bag or anything I want to carry on the pass seat, I open the armrests, set whatever I carrying on the seat,
close the armrests. They hold the box/bag in and down. All I do is bungie them together.

the description of these states no drilling necessary. I can't picture that. any help appreciated. anyone know if they fit a 13 RTS?

Not sure about the 2013's
Easy install. raise seat, undo 4 screws, set armrest base down inline with screw holes and screw the 4 back in.

Note > there is on the right side of flat area (where screws are after you raise the seat) an open area (black hole) where you could lose a screw.
I would cover that with masking tape before you start. It is truly a black hole !! :-)

Watched them being installed by Allen during Spyderfest, since there were no brown armrests in the trailer (we will order them). It is so simple, pop the fastener for the seat prop rod, take out 4 bolts, place the plate and install the supplied 4 new bolts through the plate into the existing holes. Does not interfere with the seat. Then you install the upright mounts on the plate. He also suggested covering the black hole under the seat. Excellent advice, I had to use my flexible tube camera to retrieve a fastener once upon a time.... Denny

LOL I just noticed that this thread was before SpyderFest.
You prob already got the Diamond R's there.
Wasn't it easy !!!! :-)

We have the Corbin armrest on our 2012 RT. The passenger will lose the ability to easily reach the stock bars and thus make the hand warmers useless. Good trade off for her she thinks and the optional cupholder is shallow and our drink usually wobbles over. However, we would recommend both.

Arm Rest w/drink holder and seat backrest

Hi Doc,
I am including photos of my modification for armrest. The wife loves them.
