• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Can anyone help me with this I took my 2012 RT spyder in for its yearly checkup and had the right heated grip check because it was not working. Every since then at times when I turn my spyder off the back lights (red) stay on normally I can turn it on and off again and they will go off but yesterday I could not get them to turn off I even hit the kill switch and they stay on.
After about 15min and a lot of trying they finally shut off what the heck. Help if anyone has a suggestion I have called the dealer and was told someone would contacted me on monday. Thank you for any help you can give.

Have you checked to make sure the brake light switch is not sticking on?

Sounds like..!!

your brake light switch is not working properly, may need cleaning or adjustment/ replacing. If the lights staying on are your running lights that would be in the ignition switch or light relay. Check all your fuses and relays. If not either take it back to them and tell them whats going on. They may have done something in the process of fixing the heated grips...:dontknow:

with the bike off, push the pedal down and release it at all varying speeds and see if you are able to get the lights to stick on. May be an adjustment thing or the brake sensor switch might be bad. The brake lights (and hazards) are the only lights that are functional when the motor is not running.

Also agree about brake light switch. Check for crud first--that can prevent the switch from shutting off and will eventually put your :spyder2: into limp mode. Nanny will think you are riding the brake.

I tried this and it worked the lights stayed on after I turn them off from my ride I push the brake pedal down a few times and the lights went off thank you I will be having them take a look at my break sensor switch when I take it in.
