Back lights for RT limited

Just think I need "more" lights on the rear end of my 2011 RT limited. Does anyone have a suggestion as to what I need besides the ole standard stuff. I want other folks to see me!

Try this. Ride behind another Spyder with the ole standard lights. If you can't see him maybe an optician can help. :doorag:

Back lights

I got some lights from custom dynamics for back of the trunk, had it tied into my brake lights. Also had lights put on the mud flaps, and side reflectors, so you'll like a Christmas Tree going up the street, but you'll be very visible and thats whats important:yes:

ESI HMT Brakelight and Mudflap Lights...possibly with some of their additional modules to make them turn signals, running lights, etc. TricLED or KewlMetal LED rear trunk strip light. If those aren't enough, you could wire in some HyperLites.

Agreed, the HMT brake light is a GREAT mod & really lights up the rear of the RT

Try the TricLED American Flag (http://www.tricled.com/). It's a 4"X6" LED American Flag that goes right below your license plate. It's extremely bright and eye catching........looks GREAT!!! (and makes a statement, too!!)

The HMT Third Brake light is, in my opinion, the most visible rear lighting option for the RT that I have found to date. :firstplace:

This was one of the first aftermarket options that I purchased and it looks like it belongs on the rear trunk. My unit is wired as both a Brake and Running light. I also have a BACK OFF XP unit wired to my rear brake lights and the HMT. It is programmed to pulse the rear lights multiple times, hold for a few seconds and then repeat when I touch the brake pedal. I have a switch wired to the back off unit that I can press if I want to have all of my rear lights flashing off and on during an emergency, or simply to annoy someone following me too closely. This is always hot so the switch can be activated when the RT is not running.

There are less expensive options out there that will add visibility to the rear of your RT. Good luck in your search

I haven't added anything the the back end of my ryde, but I did add these puppy's which look great, especially at night.
