Good approach! I'd cc BRP Customer Care.I think that I'd "drop a quarter" on them to BRP... nojoke
Try this one... Email the "Crappy" shop a couple of pics of what they left off of your bike. Tell them that you're taking it to another dealer to have repairs done, and you'll expect them to pay the repair bill for it. Forward that bill to tem once the repairs have been completed.
It worked for me once! It couldn't hurt to give it a shot!
I gave BRP an honest and extensive response to one of their requests for feedback after a service. They sent the complete response to the dealer and badly damaged the relationship that I thought I had with them. My dealer even accused me of costing him his "platinum dealer" status. Keep your mouth shut. The dealer and his "techs" are not going to change or accept responsibility. As my dad would have told me" you're looking up a dead dog's a_ _"

At the very least you might be saving a fellow Spyder ryder some grief from them.
I did report them to BRP . . . and since then, they have gone from just being a dealer to being a "gold" dealer . . . I suspect how many Spyders they sell carries a lot more weight with BRP than poor customer service or shoddy maintenance . . . perhaps I am wrong . . . my experience could have been a fluke . . . a "one of a kind" experience . . . but once leaving brake parts off is once too often for me to ever give them another chance.
