• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

well i just got back from a 4 day vacation in myrtle beach for bike week on the :spyder2:. i had alot of fun, put about 300 miles on the :spyder2: just riding around myrtle beach. anyone have any problems with the bike overheating. my :spyder2: went into limp mode 3 or 4 times during the week when the temp hit 6 bars. still showed atleast 1 or 2 bars left before the temp was peaked out. saw a few :spyder2:s there didnt get to talk to anyone. all in all it was an awesome time. :2thumbs:

Welcome back to the country life. :D

The overheating would bother me a little, unless you were sitting stopped in traffic for a long time. It has been hot here, but not that hot yet. Check to make sure your fan is coming on. It should kick in at 5 bars and run until the temp gauge drops back down to 4. I don't like going into Limp Mode due to heat, but it is much better than the alternative.

I rode 300 miles yesterday in Central Florida with bank thermometers showing 100 degrees and never experienced any overheating.. I hear that complain from several folks but have been fortunate to ride in most severe heat without it.

I was there, too! Saw a few Spyders... a couple of yellow ones and a couple or red ones (could have been the same ones, lol!), and a silver. I got to speak with the owner of the silver one; she was a really nice girl, from Dallas NC. She was thrilled to learn that I was close by.

I got lots of looks, lots of folks took Clyde's picture, and I got lots of thumbs-up and comments of "cool bike!". It was fun!
