I live in beautiful Wyomng. My wife and I decided to take the Spyder up in the hills a ways the other day. Coming back we encountered a heard of deer crossing the highway. At twilight it is very difficult to see along with coming around a bend at 65. First I saw the deer on the left side of the road and immediately looked to the right. There four doe was heading into the road in a line. No where to go to avoid them I hit the skids as hard as I could. In about 50 feet the Spyder slowed down and verde to the left. Totally in control. One of the deer I thought we was going to hit hard but just nicked my right elbow and my wife's forearm as we went past. We came to a dead stop about 10 feet past the deer. It was as shocked as we were. We caught out breath and road on home. If I had been on a bike, I believe is be dead. No way would a bike stop in that space. If I was in a car, I would have taken all four deer out. I've never seen braking power like my Spyder has.
