• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Avoiding obstacles

Rumors have it that was the new Missouri radar turtle. They have been testing them on backroads. Anyone have first hand proof that they work????

$247 later, :yikes: I may be able to attest to how it works. :gaah: Now I may be glad I took one of those turt's out! Almost like my civic duty. :roflblack:

When at this past 2011 Spyderfest Cuba, MO, it was turtle road crossing day when Blinc and I finished our Passport Run. Had 2 of them crossing the road in front of me. Was able to avoid 1 of the 2 and although they were quite small, there was not enough clearance to miss the second. Sadly he never made it to the back wheel. It wasn't the outcome I was hoping for.

No, silly it was the Remote Spyderfest Video Turtle. We encountered them on the Ladies Ride positioned in the middle of the lane and panning with its camera lens from side to side to get a good shot of us passing.
