AVG Fuel Economy Reading on 2018 BRP Connect Limited

Enjoying my new F3 Lmited and thank you to all the contributors on the board for your wisdom.

Only concern so far is the avg fuel economy reading on the screen is always pinned at 70 mpg which would be fantastic if it were true... anyone else see this problem... is this likely software issue? Have enough miles 750. Getting realistic instant FE readings but those are based only on ecu math.... ultimately I might rather live with it than have them dismantle the top given this number not really useful, and the fuel gauge works well.

Yes, along with the radio problem we both seem to have..
The avg fuel will "stick" on a high number like 70 or 50.
I had the updated sw installed (12.2). Now is works sometimes, sometimes not. So i track mileage the old way , notebook and pen.

I was checking out a new RT,at a local dealer and I too noticed the 70 mpg on the screen on both the A and B trip meters. Bruce

Before the firmware update. Instant and average fuel mileage was zero. When it was updated to 12.20. Instant fuel mileage seems to be working correctly. Average not so much. I hear firmware version 13.20 is available and it fixes a lot items. Maybe this too.

Thanks for all your replies and confirmations. Am running 12.20 and will wait for an ipdate, hopefullly will not be charged for the reflash to fix... on a positive note I believe my avg FE is in the high 30s better than expected.

Upgrade to 13.20 is under a warranty campaign 2018-4 and is free.
