Auxillary for lights on 2014 RT

Just wondering if the stock fog light circuit on the RT will handle 50 watt lights. 50 watt fog or running lights can be had for $50.00 or so versus about $500.00 for the 35 watt BRP fog lights. Would like to purchase the factory switch and hook into the existing wiring if I can find the right connectors so I wont have to splice into the factory wiring. Thanks in advance for any help with this.

If my feeble memory is correct; the OEM foglights were about 35 watts.
If that's true, you're adding about 50% to the load on the circuit... :dontknow:

The stock connectors are there. Fifty watt lights will pull too much current without extra overload protection.
