• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Auto dealer with a Spyder

Have you ever noticed that car dealers frequently post prices in their ads when the fine print says "after a trade in or cash down payment of $3000" in otherwords not the real price... seems like it should be illegal, but is very commonplace practice in our area.

If this is real, I'll buy it, have the local dealer check it out, arrange for a shipper, and sell it on the Board.

My guess is that it's a scam - we'll see.

Ads for cars, motorcycles, and the like on craigslist for prices such as $3,999, and other similar prices under $4K that are obviously worth way more than that are almost ALWAYS 100% fraudulent.

The reason they use amounts below $4,000 is due to government reporting of cash, wires, or monetary instruments (cashier's checks and money orders).

I am an anti-money laundering specialist and I know all too well about schemes like this.

If it sounds too good to be true, it usually is! nojoke

Different kind of scam - Oh, that should have been $14,000. That was AFTER two "you gotta come & see this bike!!!!!!"

Scam is a scam..
