:yes:...Can you believe it, we have made it through another Month. Welcome to August 2022. Here in Indiana we have the State Fair going on and when that stops...................... schools are back in secession.
It is really the last blast of Summer, so to speak. Parents love it and the kids are not happy.
It all goes with the cycle of Life. Grow and learn, grow and learn, then get a good job. Well you know the drill.

For me this year has been moving very quickly and I have enjoyed all of the great weather. Some Days were much better than others. My Spyder Ryde Times were very Enjoyable.

So join us for the month of August and Please post up your local weather news. We always welcome new friends and new members. I have enjoyed reading all your posts and I hope that you have enjoyed the News.

Currently 72°F with clouds and rain showers coming today.
Going to get out there and cut the grass this morning, before the storm. I really should have cut Saturday and been done. Every now and then you need to change things up a little. Gotta Love it and get on with Life. ......:shemademe_smilie:

Hot here for those coming in for the Rally, 3 days this week around 100.

We had another nice soaker day yesterday. The grass is back to green. We went for a nice ride today...mid 80's to low 90's. Went as far as Mt. Judy. It was lightning and raining up there, so we ventured no further.

Was great to feel the wind again. :yes:

Not Home

I pulled Fat Old Gray (my trike) out of mothballs last week and left the desert S.W. I'm on a 3+ week road trip...solo. Currently in central Oregon at Baker City. Part of my plan was to escape the summer desert heat. That's not working out too well, so far. Today I registered 104 going through Ontario, OR. Thank goodness for a Hydro cooling vest. I'll be moving around WA, OR, ID, CO, & UT so won't provide any weather updates until I get back home. I bought a small cheap little travel computer for the trip. It's working out surprisingly well. I will check in here from time to time. Stay safe..... Jim

Tuesday 8/02/22

Yesterday's rain was awesome I received about a half inch. Got all the grass cut just before it started raining. ...:yes:
Of course I am sitting inside and the wife had several things for me to do. I decided that I would take one for good Luck. The endless work was clean up my half of the garage. Her half is where the car stays. Well you know the rest of the story.

Currently 69°F with 89% humidity.
Today 86°F hot and humid. Low of 72°F.

Wednesday 8/03/22

:helpsmilie:...I have been doing the forever thing of organizing my garage. Get more space and find things that are missing. Just because that's the way it should be done. You know the rest of the story.
Currently 69°F and cloudy, humidity already at 85%.
Makes for a wet outdoor project.

High 93°F with sunshine and lots more humidity. Low 72°F.
Calling for some rain showers tonight. We can use the rain. .....:spyder:

Thursday 8/04/22

...So far all the talk of rain yesterday was a bust.
Not one little drop of rain. This morning they are saying 58% chance of rain. Currently 72°F with some clouds.

Today 81°F with some rain showers, low of 70°F.
The yard looks great but if we don't get a little rain it will be turning brown. We have a lot of leaves falling early do to the lack of rain.
I guess we will have an early Fall.

Friday 8/05/22

...Good Friday Morning to you. I hope you are all doing well. Currently 70°F and very humid. We received about 1/4" of rain yesterday. Still waiting for some more, as we are still short overall.

High 85°F with sunshine and lots of humidity. Low 70°F.
Ryde when you can and be Safe.

Weekend Weather

...I was able to enjoy some 'wind therapy' yesterday. The humidity was doable for about one hour. Then I had to give up and enjoy some AC. Currently overcast skies and 75°F. The corn and beans are doing great and love this very humid weather.

Today high of 88°F with clouds, low 72°F.
Sunday 90°F and some sunshine, low 72°F.
Ryde when you can and make the best of your Time.

A little respite from the scorching heat. Low 90's the next three days, then some high 80's. Today, morning coffee on the porch, 80 and a nice breeze (cool) blowing. We will see 93 later today,

Here in VT. the current temp is 90 degrees, sunny. We have a heat advisory until Aug. 7th(Sunday) at 8:00 pm.

Heat index values in the mid to upper 90's expected. Where The Champlain Valley of Vermont and New York and portions of the Connecticut River Valley of Vermont.

Additional Details: The highest Heat Index Values will occur Through 6:00 pm this evening,and between 1:00 pm and 6:00 pm on Sunday.

It is mostly Clear/ feel like 93 UV - very high 8, Dew point 67 degrees, 0% precipitation

They are forecasting a few afternoon thundershowers today. Sunday will be an other day like today with the heat index of 95 to 100 degrees in some spots.

The work week will start off with an active Monday, A slow moving frontal system will drop in the regin, with showers and thunderstorms along with that. Highs temps will be cooler with highs in the 70s. It will remain humid, however.Things will settle down a bit on Tuesday.

The later half of the week will be less humid and cooler. Wednesday to Thursday highs in the 70's and low's in the 50's.

...A good morning to you and have a good day. Currently it is clear sky and 77°F. Oh yeah the humidity is very high @ 90%. No I really don't enjoy it, but I have learned to live with it. I thank God for his Healing Power and man's AC. .....ray:

Yesterday's miles were very Enjoyable and 'we' enjoyed the time. .....:shemademe_smilie:
We always have a 'special treat or something'. Yesterday's was a sub at 'Jersey Mike's' I forgot how much I liked their subs.

High 87°F with some clouds and maybe rain showers coming today. Low of 70°F.

Here in Vt. the current temp is 81 and partly cloudy.

We will still have the hot and steamy weather today in the southern part of Vermont ( like we had this past weekend).

But this week we will start to see some weather changes as we got thru the day today. A frontal system has been stalled just north of the Canadian Border, but will start to sag southward in the late afternoon and evening hours, accompanied by showers and thunderstorms.

We need the rain.

The thundershowers will be off and on throughout the evening hours and on the day on Tuesday too as it moves slowly from N to S. We could get some pretty good down pours with this system. As this front drops southward throughout the day on Tuesday, it will be ushering in cooler,less humid air.

The rest of the week the temps in the 70's and evening lows in the 50's.

Tuesday 8/09/22

...Well the rain has made it to Indiana and my Local Area. This is the first real rain in about 14 days for us. Started raining last night and then off and on most of the night. Currently 70°F with some rain showers.

Oh Yeah, I enjoyed some great 'wind therapy' yesterday. The wife and I rode to the park and had a little picnic. Then more ryde time and finally went back home.

Today only 75°F with some rain showers coming.
Low of 65°F.

Wednesday 8/10/22

:yes:...Today is going to be another grand Day. Currently 68°F with some clouds. Yesterday rain was awesome, we received over one inch. We really needed some rain. Thank the Lord for His wonderful Blessings.

High 80°F with mostly sunny, low of 59°F. ....:gaah:
I will try and enjoy the cooler temperatures.

Thursday 8/11/22

...Yesterday was a very full day. The temperature was doable and I was able to get most of the grass cut. Amazingly it was a lot greener and thicker from Tuesday's rain. So no Spyder Ryde Time Yesterday. I will try and get some Ryde Time in Today. Currently 63°F with clouds.

High 79°F with some rain showers this afternoon. Low of 55°F.

Friday 8/12/22

hyea:....It's Friday and clear skies. Currently a cooler morning at 57°F. The moon is shining very bright this morning, a late full moon. Yesterday was a no-rain day.
I wanted to get a little rain for the yard. Maybe next week.

High today of 77°F with some clouds, low of 57°F.
