• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Audio System Won't Load When Hot

2018 F3-L, After a ride of an hour or so on hot days (85 degrees +), after stopping for fuel, etc., the audio shows that it's loading and sometimes never does... Anyone else seen or have this issue?

I also have an 18 F3L and I have never experienced this. Have you confirmed that you have the latest software update? When mine went in for the sprocket recall, they checked I had an update on mine.

I've had similar issues on my 2023 F3 Limited but I never associated with hot weather. It doesn't happen often and it's more of an annoyance to me than anything. I'll also check with my dealer on any possible firmware updates. How do you connect your audio? Hard wired through the auxiliary jack or bluetooth? I connect via bluetooth only so I just suspected a poor quality bluetooth module in our Spyders. It would be interesting to know if the issue also appears with auxiliary inputs. I've debated looking for a last generation iPod since all of my music is on my iPhone and it would be tedious to try and transfer gigabytes of music to the MP3 format if that's even possible with Apple Music.

I have a 14 RT so it's the older system...... I have ridden in traffic with temps of 125 F , and didn't have any issues ....Mike

I connect by bluetooth with my iphone also...yes it is an annoyance

I use bluetooth also, and it doesn't load the radio either...

On my 2022 RTL, at times after fueling, breaks or anytime I turn off the Spyder I have to reconnect BRP to blue tooth on my cell phone. So, I disconnect from the phone then re-connect. It's quite unsafe since I usually don't wait for to find out that blue tooth hasn't connected properly before I am riding again. I don't understand why the connection is lost when the phone and the Spyder show everything working.
