• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

ATTENTION: New Activity at Spyderfest this Year!

I will bring my floaties:yes:
Hey Farran, this is a great idea but like many others (i suspect) Me and a couple of others from Tennessee won't be rolling in until maybe mid-day tursday:sour: I'm gonna find me a Hat that has a big T on it and maybe folks will still find me. Opps! that could be Texas, O.K., it will have Tennessee on it. can't wait to get there!

Just make the T a real orange and not that funky brown orange and we'll all know which state you represent! ;)

me and Eric DelToro posted on almost every SRA facebook page. hopefully all of them follow through. :D There was also talk about bringing the Spyders in the Redwoods banner, but i'm not sure how Len will take having another event advertised, even though it's an easy way to advertise the Cali chapters since they all sponsor/run the event.

Thanks, Joe! Hopefully some will post replies in the next few days. :) (You'd have to ask Len about the SITR banner.)

ATTENTION: New Activity at Spyderfest this year

ARKANSAS: Count GunkandPudge (Tom & Lynn) in for the river meet.

Hot Springs Village, Arkansas

with all this being said and organized i came up with a thought of who would like to have a raised white "state" applied to there tires.the cost for both tires would be under 20.00 and i could have them for spyderfest but i need a solid comittment as i have to get these in qty's of 8 of ea.state.anyone interested?

TEXAS for me! TWO sets- one for the bike, one set for the trailer.

SPYDERLOVERS SCHOOL BOOTH

This is wonderful Faran,

SpyderLovers of California City of Angels, LosAngeles Chapter
would like to have a booth not for a state but for the WorldWideWeb
(my idea about an unofficial for now, trying to call Lamonster to get his approval).
SpyderLovers School (you can learn more by)"click:http://www.spyderlovers.com/forums/showthread.php?50263-SpyderLovers-School

I know Lamont is spread thin. Maybe he could make a short Cameo
appearance and we could have special guests like former Ambassadors
say hi, sign autographs and picture ops. And show other riders how to
navigate this wonderful site to their full advantage.

Would like to have myself and others who would
volunteer there knowledge and contribute at the booth.
If this is granted by the powers that be, I will post a thread
asking for assistance.

2 table's, Think 1 to put computers/ ipads on to show what is possible
and the other table to see if we can have a SpyderLovers Banner that
attendees can sign saying they were at SpyderFest2013:yes:
not sure how many chairs:dontknow:

Love it, Ticketbait!! I knew someone would get the idea that this didn't have to be just a state or geographical group, but could be any kind of mutual interest group (outside of actual vendors since they'll have all week at Vendor Village).

I'd be glad to put you and the SpdyerLovers School on the list!

This is turning out to be a big event, I'm super pumped about all the spyder groups setting up to be part of this!! The girls on spyders are going to rock this.

Thanks, Michele! :clap:Got you on the list - now to get the rest of the Ohio group to chime in!

The Ohio Spyder Ryders (OSR) Club will have two of our best there in attendance.

Tim and AnnaMarie (tajohn & the Spyder Stalker) have graciously accepted the task of carrying the OSR torch for our club at a booth. These two are part of the original 13 that started the club and are exceptional ambassadors for the OSR. They will have plenty of information made available to them to get the word out about the good things we're doing out here in the Buckeye State. This couldn't have work out much better. Thanks you two, you're ARE the best! :2thumbs:

Eric and I would have loved to be there this year and participate in all the festivities including this one. But we will not be able to attend Spyderfest due to our obligations here at home for the OSR and our sister clubs.

Please stop by and visit with Tim and AnnaMarie at the OSR booth, you won't regret it! Be prepared to smile & have your picture taken.

Pincushion,

Definitely spread the word to them so we can save room for at least one California table. No need for each group to have their own unless they just want to. Wish you were able to make it this year!

This is a huge effort in logistics but one with rewards. SRA Inland Empire (CA) will be there. We can share a table with other Calif chapters and perhaps other SRA chapters would like to join tables.

I asked Rickylen and he said it was cool. I plan to print some Redwood fliers but I have no access to the banner.

Great! I've added SRA Inland Empire and if no other CA chapters sign up invidivually, we'll put all of the CA chapters at a table. We've already had several other SRA chapters sign up so I appreciate y'all representing!

Faran I asked the other SRA chapters on the west coast to request a table at least to show their banner and to request the same. Hopefully we can all stage side by side. The same goes for the other chapters in the country. Sounds like a giant party on "Hospitality Lane".

Or have the SRA Gauntlet. A portion of the path lined with all the SRA Chapters on both sides. Lol

Faran ~ I'm weighing in for two SRA CA Chapters. San Francisco Bay Area and Sacramento. Please put us on the list. I will be bringing their banners to display. We would like to be with the other CA SRA Chapters. I don't know how big the tables are. Our banners are 3 x 5 each. Thanks so much for all that you are doing. I'm so looking forward to this event. Marciana :dg2:

Yea! I'll add you to the list. :D

I'm not sure on the table size either, but I'm guessing a 6-8' (I'll try to find out). Might have to hang one on one side and one on the other (unless we have enough to give you two tables).

Seems like we're missing some of the Gulf Coast states! :dontknow: Are enough of y'all coming in on Wednesday to set up a hospitality table?
