• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Good evening fellow spyder ryders........
At long last my spyder has arrived...a short ride this evening...long ryde planned tomorrow if the weather permits.
brief history.....
Rode bikes in the eighties till a bad spill put an end to that.
Have had a scooter in last year or so....but wanted a bit more power...but security, comfort and safety too!
Hence the F3 being the perfect solution.
First impressions are as previous reviews....very powerful and sure footed.
I live in the countryside so lots of narrow lanes and tractors to be aware of.
First few corners taken slowly just to gain confidence and see how F3 copes....soon went faster tho as felt very secure.
I will share my thoughts with spyder lovers once I feel I can give a full and honest review.
Cheers

Welcome..!!

to the spyder world. Great choice..:2thumbs: once you conquer the handing you will forget your cares and really get to enjoy it. Be safe tractor can really slow you down. Had one with a sticker saying "I may be slow but I'm ahead of you" ...:roflblack:

. . . . . . A UK "bit" must be a lot bigger than the US "bit" for the F3 to be a little higher on the power scale than a scooter. But then, maybe you guys have bigger scooters than we have. :roflblack:

No matter, enjoy your new ride.

Tom, the English are masters of understatement! It's what we do......but we do have many scooters which are over 500cc and
capable of more than 100mph!!
