• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

arntufun, check it out..

I knew it was imminent, but arrest and conviction are two different things. Reasonable doubt will ultimatly aquit him.

Obviously the Prosecutors have access to more information than they will release to the Press... Let them do their jobs and let the chips fall where they may.

You know... I dont really care, what bothers me the most is the fact that someone gets shot every minute. Why is this case so predominant? Its like the random girl that vanishes on a trip, or the random lady missing that is pregnant that they choose at the given time.

All of these items happen to probably hundreds of people in our country a day. And yet somehow some of them boil to the top of the news charts and out onto the streets.

Regardless of if he is convicted or not, it has nothing to do with me. And to couple that in with other statements, I have biased / shaded evidence and no real understanding of the situation so I should and can have no weight on the subject.

Guilty or Innocent, this man's life is over. Guilty or innocent, people will rally on whatever side loses, and feel cheated / slighted / enraged. Guilty or innocent people will rally on the side that wins, feeling vindicated, justified and arrogant.

The end all be all of it, is regardless of what happens now. EVERYONE loses. Loses time, emotion, loved ones... I hope the judicial system in our country provides a just and solid evaluation and decision, but ultimately regardless, the boy is unfortunately dead. Regardless of self defense or murder, that sad fact remains, a human life was lost and no one should ever take that lightly, even if done in self defense.

In my opinion this case is being tried by the media and the public, which is never good, for anyone, anytime, anywhere.

Just my thoughts.

zrc,

Take a deep breath and relax; bring the blood pressure down a few notches.

I only posted the thread b/c Randy showed an interest a few weeks back. To me it's not even a blip on my radar.

Some stories get more press than others. These days I just try to read spyderlovers.com and forget the news; it saves on aggravation.

zrc: your right, and I agree. We had this thread going a couple weeks ago and it started getting political--the thread disappeared off the face of the earth.

Lets just watch and see what happens. I know I wont be called to be on the jury, so the outcome is out of my control.

It has now turned into a circus and will probably be like another OJ trial.

I took the last thread down myself, because it got out of hand and I'm practicing self moderation. :roflblack: One things for sure, Nancy Grace is very interesting lately. I will watch the whole trial as I did with Casey Anthony. This kind of stuff peaks my interest and I love watching peoples reactions when certain facts come out.

I just love how America goes nuts with the media feeding the fuel. It's sort of like trolling on the internet but only better. :roflblack:

Randy,

Let's make a side bet. We won't discuss it here. I'll let you decide what is going to happen and I'll take the opposite; $5. PM me your verdict.

I don't know... Is there where all of those guys with the leather jackets come to play on their Hot Wheels?

I wasnt heated, sorry if it came across that way, I am just astonished at how people eat the absolute GARBAGE they are fed by the media.

It is saddening that the general populace has fallen to an amazing level of low (or perhaps it was always this way and I just started seeing it because I got older and [while some would argue] wiser). Imagine what the OJ case would be like now...

I mean hell, I will quote a friend when someone uses any internet reference to back up their so called opinion. My boy Rob looks at them squarely and says without even a remote smile "Really? You found that out on the net? I think you have changed my opinion, you know once, I saw (on the internet) a place where it rains skittles, wonder where that happens, I would like to live there..."

The people we are talking to at the time, usually become violent or just walk off, either way, problem solved.

I will bet a bag of skittles that Bob D's wife wont let him buy skittles without asking...:joke:
