You know... I dont really care, what bothers me the most is the fact that someone gets shot every minute. Why is this case so predominant? Its like the random girl that vanishes on a trip, or the random lady missing that is pregnant that they choose at the given time.
All of these items happen to probably hundreds of people in our country a day. And yet somehow some of them boil to the top of the news charts and out onto the streets.
Regardless of if he is convicted or not, it has nothing to do with me. And to couple that in with other statements, I have biased / shaded evidence and no real understanding of the situation so I should and can have no weight on the subject.
Guilty or Innocent, this man's life is over. Guilty or innocent, people will rally on whatever side loses, and feel cheated / slighted / enraged. Guilty or innocent people will rally on the side that wins, feeling vindicated, justified and arrogant.
The end all be all of it, is regardless of what happens now. EVERYONE loses. Loses time, emotion, loved ones... I hope the judicial system in our country provides a just and solid evaluation and decision, but ultimately regardless, the boy is unfortunately dead. Regardless of self defense or murder, that sad fact remains, a human life was lost and no one should ever take that lightly, even if done in self defense.
In my opinion this case is being tried by the media and the public, which is never good, for anyone, anytime, anywhere.
Just my thoughts.
