• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Are you still riding in the Northeast?

We rode to Longwood Gardens in Chester County, PA for our annual visit to see the Christmas lights. Beautiful weather.

I was able to get out on Friday and Saturday for short rides to run errands. Sadly I had to travel for business on Sunday so I wasn't able to ride at all.

I took this in Bidderford Pool Maine yesterday.

41, and cloudy here for today... The wheels get some turning!
Tomorrow; it looks as if some rain will pass through the area. But Friday is currently looking like there'll be some more
co-operation from Mother Nature!

Was lucky enough to get out again, today. While riding I had a guy follow me for a short distance on a Honda CBR 500X (sweet bike). When I finally reached my usual resting spot, he pulled and and was real interested in my GS. Very knowledgeable about Spyders, as he had considered going to them. With two artificial hips, he still loves riding in his 70's.
Gotta love December riding in New York!

Right!? I too was able to get a nice 90 minute or so ride in. Plenty of other riders taking advantage today, many more than yesterday.
Where abouts were you riding in NY?
Vader I'm from dutchess county... I rode rt55 to rt 82. Up to rt 343 to rt 22 and back. Nice little loop.

But tomorrow is showing some promise...

Crazy NY weather

The wife and I did a cruise(Caribbean) from 12/4 - 12/14 and returned to Rochester airport in shorts and flip flops...60s.

I put the Spyder up a few weeks ago for the winter but it is looking like I may be able to squeeze in a final commute on XMas Eve
from Lyons to Syracuse VA. Hoping that we don't pay for this with a late running winter.

Going riding on Christmas Day, just so I can say so. Weather will be in the low 60s and 0% chance of rain. Need to find out the family plans first, but I'm going somewhere. It will most likely never happen again in my lifetime. 70s tomorrow, but some rain. Crazy weather, be in the Caribbeans next week, enjoying life. Happy Holidays everyone.

Great Spyders Think alike

I am also quietly planning some Xmas day miles. I'm hoping my wife wants to go, as you said earlier this could be a once in a lifetime for us northeast folk. Might get out tomorrow during the day, will depend on whether or not the roads dry up. I just waxed the spyder and am thinking that will be the last time for the season so I am going to try and keep,it clean.

If you do get out this Xmas, stay safe and watch for reindeer!

Crazy weather in the Norheast

We are suppose to have heavy rain tonight, but tomorrow the temps in the upper sixty's WOHOO! Happy Holidays to everyone! Watch for the Elves and man in the red suit/ Ho Ho HO HO! Deanna

I'm going to try to get out both today and tomorrow. I was able to get out last year on the day after Christmas and I'd like to be able to do it this year as well.

New Year's anyone? :roflblack:

 We've got rain today. :gaah:
But tomorrow is definitely in the Plan!
New Years, will depend on the salt trucks... nojoke

Merry Christmas!

The Sun popped out, and I turned some wheels!
