• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I was the one who was gonna keep mine stock...now I'm wondering who's gonna come up with a new modification...I'm running out of new choices..:ohyea:

I'm in the Minority, so far ....

Everything is stock on my :spyder:so far, unless of course you add the Moto-Mate Camper I recently bought as a MOD :roflblack: So many plans are in the works tho, but priorities, priorities, priorities :opps:

Mods

You can see most of mine, all Corbin, led lights in the back, 2" riser, aftermarket exhaust and O2 emulator... home made floorboards, customized handle bar cover that's about all, friction cruise and grips... home made power port...

Funny, I use Quicken, and record most things I order, pulled up a report on spyder exp the other day, total came to $8644.97. But it still looks stock.:dontknow:

No stock here! I tried to keep the overall look while making it mine- lots of add ons for looks, performance and comfort have been done to my Spyder.

:yikes::yikes::yikes:

And that my friend is exactly why we do NOT measure our mileage or expenses on our Spyder. It would take a lot of the fun factor from us mentially. It is better for us to just purchase what we need when we need it and gas and go :bowdown:

Please understand though... My wife calls it the last 16 years of no vacations and we drive ours in memory of our son. Everything else we do in life is of course done in a P&L manner... Just not our Spyder.

No mods, no fun! I'm just beginning but have Seal FloorBoards, 5" Helibar extenders, throttlemeister cruise, extra tall windshield and LED license plate frame. A Corbin seat or new RTS is next.

Ride in Comfort,

John

Spyder was stock tell this winter! only rode one season as stock will be rolling out with mods and tons cool stuff this year!! can't wait. To be honest the spyder still has all body panels off waiting on the 8 week for delivery of Corbin fiberglass goodies!!!!!!!

Our 2008 SE5 had GIVI bags, Cal Sci windshield, BRP riser, Corbin seat and BRP back rest...all useful for comfort and travel.

Our BareBone 2010 RT is 100% stock and will stay that way. It has all we need.

All you need...for now!

My RT is stock until it gets warm enough in the garage to install the ISCI flag holder and the SpyderAnn emblems to replace the BRP ones.

We thought Nancy's Spyder would remain stock except for the dealer-installed 1" riser and the trunk liner, but it's surprising how fast it changed. Even though purchased in the end of March of 2008, by the first week of April it had the first mod...some HyperLites for the rear license light/reflector. A week later we added a Throttlemeister. Since then it has seen an auxiliary fuse block, Powerlet outlets, heated gear harness, Starcom1 comm system, CHAD windshield, RAM mounts, Comfort Seat, R-35 bags, ESI center taillight, ESI 3" risers, ESI up & out mirror extensions, ESI mudflap lights, emergency trunk release, trunk popper spring, and amber marker bulbs. She also has the BRP outdoor cover, tank bag, and passenger bag. We have also made her a seat rain cover. I have the full line of Harvey's RePops accessories waiting here to install when the weather moderates. Oops, forgot about the 2010 RT shocks.

Even though it was plushly outfitted from the factory, my 2010 RTS quickly got an auxiliary fuse block, Powerlet outlets, heated gear harness, Starcom1 comm system, ESI mudflap lights, RAM mount, and BRP trailer hitch. I also had the smaller travel cover and a protective sleeve I made for the windshield when covered, and we made a seat rain cover. I used my BMW saddlebag inserts.

The 2011 RTS will get the same treatment, plus an ESI High Brake Light and a RePops belt guard. I already have most of the parts sitting here waiting patiently.
