• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Are You Ordering/Purchased A New 2025 Spyder/Ryker??

ARtraveler

R.I.P. Dwayne
Since the New Year is going to be shortly upon us, I am putting up a thread for those who have a new 2025 Spyder or Ryker on the list.

Please feel free to give us your information as To What you ordered, and When you expect delivery.

Also, an I picked up my new Spyder from the dealer today would top things off.

Health does not permit me to join the party anymore, but seeing other people's orders will help. :coffee:

I plan to trade-in my 2020 RTL on a 2025 model. The sole reason for this is because I'll be retiring (hopefully by spring) and want to start off with a new bike. My 2020 has been flawless in over 60000 miles, but after retiring is not the time to have something start nickel/diming me due to normal wear and tear. I've been waiting for years for BRP to put out a green color that I like. The 2025 British Green would be my first choice, but it's only coming out on the F3. I'm curious about the new S2S color coming out, but need to see it in person. Timing will be an issue. If the threatened tariffs materialize before 2025 models arrive, then I'll be forced to buy a leftover 2024 model. The only problem there is that the colors I like are going fast.

Put a deposit on a new Red Rock Canyon. Hoping for March. The tariffs are concerning. We will see!
I want to ride to Alaska and am concerned my Sea@Sky too nice to ride there and back.
I rode some miles here in Wyoming on BLM dirt roads, and worried about mini rocks in belt.
Little more ground clearance on Canyon less storage.
I think I will wait and touchy feely the Canyon before I pull trigger

Keeping my F3 and have no plans on getting rid of it, but a canyon may be in the future once the bugs are worked out. I'm watching from a distance on this one.

I never buy the first version of anything now. Let the adopters be the guinea pigs, see what happened with the apple car play debacle on the 2024's?

And with the computer controlled suspension on the canyon it will be most likely have some issues that need some work along with traction control. It will be interesting to see how many of these get stuck with real world use. With our engines mounted more towards the front of the frames I can only see it plowing the front end down into soft surfaces and going uphill on soft or gravelly inclines could be a challenge as well. I really wish they made these an all wheel drive.

Also with the computer controlled suspension I have the question of will the suspension be proprietary since it is controlled by the computer?

Will you be able to upgrade the suspension if needed? I would hope with the cost of a canyon you would not need it.

But there are enough dirt roads within a couple of hours from here with amazing views and old fire towers that are open to the public that I would make good use of a canyon, plus I may be able to get the wife to ride with me again on a "slower" machine with more views and nature to enjoy.

Keeping my fingers crossed that they do good.

We have been early adopters on these:
2010, first RT
2013, makeover RT
2014, 1330 RT
2017, F3T
2020 RT,makeover
2022 Ryker Rally, makeover
The 2013 was a disaster, but, BRP made good for us.
350,000 miles 48 states, Canada, and zero regrets! I’ll let you know how it goes!!

Nope. No way. Fixed income here, Plus I like the fact my 2013 does not even have a radio, let alone Bluetooth, I'm old school don't need/want that stuff on my Spyder/past motorcycles that i owned, don't need the headache of why does my blah, blah not work with my blah blah. The machine and the wind are all the sounds I need.

Forgot the 08 GS and the 11 RT! The 08 was a long term loan from Spyderann’s brother, and the ‘11 was a long term loan from BRP while we waited on the 14 to be built.

You have good questions.

I asked if I could order Sea2Sky with no radio and speakers. They said no. Oh, well. I tried
