• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Are there any plans to have Can Am's on Daytona Race track during bike week?

I would sure love to try it. I'm 1000 miles away but would make the trip just to say I rode around the track on my Can-Am.

BRP have owners day the last Saturday of Bike Week. There is lunch and in the afternoon a number of laps round the racetrack paid for by BRP.This has been done every year for the past few years.Last Bike Week there were at least a 150 Spyders ryding the track. You have to register.

So, is the registration for this open yet? Has a host hotel been setup yet?

We will be in the area and looking forward to BikeWeek!

Lamont usually posts on Spyderlovers when the registration opens. The hotel being used is The Country Inn&Suites. It is a great hotel which we have used 3 times for the Spyders. Was a great success last bikeweek. Many have signed up including the usual gang Jack.It is $165.00 per night. There are still some rooms available.Tel 386-760-0101.Quote Sunbird Spyder Group. It is substantially cheaper than the rack rate. Most people are booked March 12th to15th.

I went on the Monster Dash during Octoberfest last October and, as far as I've been able to find out, I was the only Spyder on the track. Kind of surprised me.
