• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Are there any options for 2024 RT Windshield Vents?

I know that F4 windshields have that option for their windshields. They cut out an opening for the vent (they use the goldwing vent) and mount it in the opening.

That first link you've put up is to cover/shield the open vents/holes that are already in the 2013-2023/24(??) RT & S2S windscreens, altho quite a few Spyder Owners, especially those with the (earlier &/or F3) solid (non-vented) windscreens cut another hole higher up and fit/use actual Goldwing vents as well/instead... ;)

Your 2015 RT Ltd would've had the open holes down the bottom of its windscreen, what did you do with/to those?? Most don't feel/see any need to do anything more. ;)

The later model Spyders that I've seen still have those holes, altho admittedly, IIRC they are in a different place wrt the top of the dash binnacle from the 2020 model change onwards... (I'm sure someone will tell me if that's wrong ;) ) and they don't let a heap of bugs &/or rain thru, even tho they are open.

AFAICS, even tho I've probably only ridden a dozen or so of the 2020+ RT's, and only a few of those in the rain for any goodly length of time, the basic premise that 'you only get when you stop moving on an RT still seems to pretty much hold true - unless you're a pillion passenger of course, in which case you'll probably get a 'skunk stripe' of road spray down your back & a heap of water dumped down your neck if you pillion in the rain, but that's due to the turbulence thrown up behind the trunk & panniers! :sour: For the pre-2020 RT's, adding a horizontal 'whale tail' type luggage rack to the top of the trunk reduces that a LOT, if not completely; I dunno if anyone's tried that on the 2020+ Spyders yet tho! :dontknow:

Type in Goldwing windshield vent in your search engine. Google or whatever you prefer. You will get more options than you can imagine. You will have to install it yourself or have it done, but there are plenty available.

FYI, I'm using a Can Am vented windshield that I originally bought and installed on my 2015 RTL. I then used it on my 2020 RTL until I traded that in on a 2025 S2S. Windshield fits the same on all those years. Maybe shop around for an older one?
