• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Are Mirror Shell Metal Clips a common item? Where from?

One of my mirror shells came off while riding. I didn't notice until I got home.
I ordered and received the new one, but metal clips wasn't included. Really don't want to order them. Are they a common automotive clip maybe found at Napa?

You can check with McMaster Carr and Fastenal too.
I've had good luck finding misc fasteners at Ace Hardware.

To Me... they don't look special.. I would take one off you existing mirror shell and go to an auto parts store so they can match them. The worst they can say is No... Then you would know.

Just throwing this out there, Gedge……sorry, but it is very vague as I have had no reason to research in detail.

BRP fixed the issue with mirror covers falling off in late ‘20 (if my failing memory is correct). I don’t know the tech specs, but it would be worthwhile have a search for what they did (I think it was longer clips???) since you are heading out to source some new ones. You could perhaps prevent the covers from falling off again. I struggle to get the covers off on my ‘21 RT, and I’m 6’7” and 300lbs.
