• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Are Color Matched Rear Top Panels available anywhere?

I have a 2020 RTL. Color is asphalt grey and I'm trying to find a color matched rear top panel. I saw them available online, bought one, but I'm returning it because it's not color matched, it's that black rubberized material similar to the trim pieces.

They listed it as asphalt grey. Very misleading. Now I'm reading differing stories on whether or not color matched rear top panels are even available. I don't want it wrapped and I don't want it painted in a body shop. I want the original BRP finish on an asphalt grey rear top panel. Is it available anywhere?

Heading home from DW3 July 10th a deer smacked the Wife on her Spyder, I ordered a Right hand fender in Liquid Titanium, came black.
Called the dealer, and he found the only 1 with factory Liquid Ti in North America. they took back the black one.
Got it!!

All of the paint systems at the body shops won't take the BRP paint codes.

T.P.

Can anyone tell me how good these wraps are? The rear top panel I bought is that black rubberized material similar to the trim pieces. If I had that wrapped would it match the glossy finish of the main body pieces?

I would have thought they were available, but now that I think of it, every base RT that I have seen just has the standard black finish when they add the trunk.
I do know that the trunk for the F3 series did come in colors. The F3L in 2016 didn't come with a trunk but I have seen them being added and they matched the bike color perfectly. Good luck with your search.

Ok I'm not sure anyone cares but after much digging online I finally found a guy on eBay that had my answer.

Per Sam at powersportsmonkey (again, this is on eBay) there are four options for a colored top rear panel on a 2020 RTL:
Chalk Metallic Can-Am #219401076
Deep Marsala #219401014
Petrol Metallic #219401013
Asphalt Grey #219401076

Thank you, Sam. Again, not sure anyone cares but if you wanna shed some weight and get a sportier look, you can remove the trunk and pop a color matched rear panel on.

When I bought my 2020 RT Limited in March 2020, it took me a couple of months to find a chalk RT Panel. Your best bet is to call your dealer. He may be able to find what dealer has one. If not, start calling dealers. If they have one, make a deal with them. It'll be already boxed up collecting dust and they'll want to get rid of it. RT Panel Part# 219401076 Asphalt Grey. Never pay MSRP. Ha, in 2014 when I bought my 622 trailer, that's how I found it. A dealer told me who had one, I called them and bought it over the phone. Rode there and picked it up.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/365723290099 I found one on eBay.

When I bought my 2024 Spyder RT S2S it came with a large, flat box - think extra large pizza sized box.
In the box was the driver's backrest and the hardware to install it, and...

a color matching rear top panel in case I wanted to take off the top case.

I totally misunderstood the question. I thought you were talking about the actual color matched trunk for an RT to make it look like an RTL.
As for the cowl or filler piece, I found one on Ebay for my Chalk White 2021 for $40. They person had it labelled as a frunk lid, so I knew he didn't know what he actually had. But there were plenty of pictures, so I took a chance, and ordered it. It worked great.
